Chef Donna Hammond, well-known and adored from Cornwall to California (formerly the Executive Chef at Painter's, when it was at its best, and at Chez Panisse in Berkeley), will be opening the Hudson Street Cafe in Cornwall on Hudson in early June 2009. Donna and her partner Will Waterfield will serve breakfast and lunch seven days a week, with dinner coming soon. I particularly enjoy the green eggs and ham and the breakfast nachos.
