Its so refreshing to get typical English food with fresh vegetables. Everything is cooked to order and they serve traditional dishes such as all day breakfast, roast dinners, cottage pie, burger meal, cobs, toasties. Lovely coffee too! All at very reasonable prices, the last time...I went I had cottage pie, knickerboker glory and a milky coffee which came to They even do kids portions to suit everyone as you just order how many of which item you would like eg sausages egg roast potatoes and they do it so everyone is happy and we just pay for the items ordered. Waitress' are always lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
This is perfect for those looking for a hearty breakfast that is served until the middle of the afternoon after a heavy night of debauchery. Everything you would expect for a full English, good fodder for the remainder of the day. Sat outside which...is a great little courtyard off the main road with bags of potential, very little of it realised. Service was no-nonsense which again comes with the price tag but they got the order right and plonked it down on our table so I’m not complaining. stars due to price point.
Went into town with the family and separated to run some errands. Was looking for a cafe on Trip Advisor to take a rest and found this place not a very obvious cafe to notice but apparantly its been there for or more...years. Have to say I think its excellent. It's nicely hidden away from the hustle and bustle and noise of town. The food menu is great. I just had a tea and their warm Xmas roast turkey cob which was very tasty. Definitely a place I'd go again if I'm in the area.
Very well priced little cafe off the beaten track a little. Very clean, I believe you can judge the cleanliness of the kitchen by that of the toilet, and they were clean and smelt of bleach so was freshly done, not bad for lunchtime. The...only negative was I didn’t get a dessert as I was waiting too long for someone to come take my order otherwise was really nice especially given how cheap it is. I go in the usually almost every day,love it so friendly, staff are so beautiful especially sharon shanie but they are beautiful, eating is made to order, it is busy so that they need to wait, but not problem, they are very clean, always clean, I miss at the moment, but. it is not the caffe it is not the buses like a I have no car, but thank all hope that it does not belong when we return
Best cafe in Leicester. Spotlessly clean, tasty food, served quickly. Could not have asked for more. The low prices do not reflect the standard of food you receive. I am very impressed by this establishment and the friendly, welcoming staff just make this place an...absolute joy to visit. I will definitely be back and will be recommending it to everyone!
we used the caffe twice for breakfast, even during the pandemic the employees are polite and attentive. the breakfast is excellent, now here but, it does not include the price of the drink, so tee or coffee costs extra. that said the place itself is nice. it would have been staring, but not included for the drink.
I have been here a few times now with several different people. I would just like to say this is a lovely little cafe. The food is really good, reasonable prices, nice and hot, friendly staff,super clean and overall excellent. I am glad I found...it and will keep returning. large small caffe, away from the hectic of the road and a beautiful building. my friend and I had a little breakfast around the lunchtime that was perfectly cooked and enough to keep us to the tee. very recommended, very delicious food,...and excellent value for money.
