This is my third time at this restaurant and each time it gets worse... I only go because it's a colleagues choice of venue, now I will never go again. We went as a group of 12 and it took forever for them to register that we were even there. They forgot about the set menu then offered a la carte, then went back to set menu. We sat there with 3 people on the table with drinks for about 15 minutes, then the waitress would take a drink order from one person without offering others. The food took forever to arrive, we sat there with bread for 30 minutes. Drinks were also slow to arrive. Then we got charged for 3 people that didn't turn up even though we were offered a different menu at the star...
We had a group booking with work colleagues. On arrival the place was empty and had zero atmosphere- no music, stark finishes and staff a bit ambivalent. We started with drinks and most ordered draft beer and after thanking the order they told us the beer was off. So we ordered the other draft beer only to be delivered 2 beers less than the order. By the time we wanted another round the next beer was 'off'. The food was ok, not amazing. The starters nice and flavoursome. The mains were a little of a letdown. The beef wasn't cooked, in fact the fat in the meet was still hard. The octopus was a bit rubbery, but with an amazing sauce. Halfway thru the meal our chosen wine ran out (we only had 2...
Had a great dinner here with 10 people, had the shared plate options (Sweet tooth) and food was excellent - pork and beef skirt were the favourites and plenty for everyone to enjoy - wines were very well priced and the service was very attentive given there were 10 of us. Deserts came out as alternate plates which made it interesting for everyone to share, again a great night and wonderful experience, nice to have such a good quality restaurant in North Sydney especially for work get togethers!
Staff couldn't have been nicer! We were really welcomed, looked after and had a great time. The food / menu was really interesting. Mainly based around share plates. The menu was very well explained. Food delicious!I didn't organise the booking and had no idea where we were going. Our group of 5 were really impressed with this place. Value for$ excellent too. We went here with 2 friends for a couple of drinks after work one friday. The location is nice, out in the open next to a giant fig tree, happy hour beers are also good value, compared to the rest of North Sydney. We decided to stick around for some pizza with our beer, bad idea! The pizza's were luke warm, and the meat on them was horrible. An otherwise nice afternoon beer, but would not try the pizza ever again.
We came here for a christmas party and it was very good. The staff were friendly and the food tasty. We had a range of sharing platters and didn't pay so I can't comment on specific value, but the vegetarian pizza and antipasto boards were very good!The restaurant is way bigger than expected, from the front it looks tiny but it carries on far in to the back. I will go back for a proper meal at some point.
Decided to finally visit this establishment after always seeing their advertising signage in Greenwood plaza. Went there for lunch one day with my wife and had to wait 5 minutes to be given a table (despite the fact that they were only quarter full) then waited at the table for 15 minutes and no-one even came to take a drink (or food) order. So we walked out and haven't ventured back!
