Huntsman Inn - Réservation de table

Yesterday, on October 29th, 2023, we gathered with friends for Sunday lunch. We ordered 3 beef dishes and 1 chicken dish (as there were no other meat options available). The chicken was tasty, but the beef was tough and chewy. Although the meal came with plenty of vegetables, the roast potatoes were difficult to cut through. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the waiter, who promised to relay our feedback to the chef, but we never received any further communication. At a high price of £17.95 per person for one course, we were disappointed that the quality of the meal did not match the cost. Unfortunately, the Huntsman Inn fell short of our expectations.

We had a fantastic family lunch at The Huntsman Inn! This was our third week in a row coming for Sunday lunch. We had four delicious Roast Beef dinners, which were tender and satisfying, and two Roast Chicken dishes that were juicy and succulent. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely be back! Thank you, The Huntsman Inn.

Our group of 10 had lovely Sunday lunch here today. Great Yorkshire Pudding, excellent (Cod) fish chips, roast Cod and burger, together with nice draft lager. Reasonable price. Very nice friendly pub atmosphere, and the friendliest and nicest owner!! We feel like being in an old friend’s home . Thanks, Bryan, for your great hospitality

The Huntsman is a traditional Georgian pub that offers delicious dishes and a great selection of beers on tap. I visited on a Friday and was impressed by the charming ambiance, giving it a rating of 4 out of 5. The establishment has an old-school charm with wooden decorations and dim chandeliers. This country pub is the ultimate destination. The food is simple yet expertly crafted, perfect for a satisfying meal. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and the décor is charmingly local. If you haven't been yet, you definitely should go.
