My favorite restaurant in Charleston! Reservations needed? Yes, we came on a weeknight and it was still packed Vegetarian friendly? YES! The chef made us a vegetarian dish and was perfect to share between 2 people it was a LOT of food but also well proportioned (see picture great if you don't like your food to touch LOL Drinks: we got the Hell's Belles and the Punch. Went to Husk with the girlfriend. We had the ham and biscuits appetizer, she had the pork chop, I had the swordfish, we shared a side of squash and another of cornbread, and the coffee chocolate budino for dessert. Was not too shocked by the price, even though it was quite high, but it is typical for this type of restaurant. The food itself was really good! I am normally not a fan of fancy food where the menu feels like a bunch of random ingredients thrown together into nothing quite identifiable as a known food (like the harissa spaetzel on my plate), but I think Husk nailed it. For being THE place to eat in Charleston I had higher expectations. We weren't able to order a first course until about 30 minutes into our experience and didn't have food at our table until about 50 minutes after we sat down. There were other tables nearby that ordered at the same time which seemed to complicate things but again, based on what I'd heard my expectations were higher. They acknowledged it was our honeymoon which was nice and the overall atmosphere was just okay. The food was good but not mind-blowing and we had better experiences elsewhere in Charleston when we thought Husk would take the cake.

On a short trip to Charleston SC. Went to Husk. Stayed in the bar. Great whiskey selections. Bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Started with their local flight. Three locally distilled whiskeys. They were wonderful. Also had their SC raw oysters, steak tartar, and duck wings. All of the food was outstanding. I will definitely return here on my next trip. I have got to try the restaurant.
We made a reservation about 10 days in advance and ordered the Dragoon punch (delicious drink that reminded me of an elevated, stronger version of a twisted tea) and cinnamon rolls (warm and the frosting was perfection) perhaps the best cinnamon rolls ever! Great food and atmosphere! Our waiter Mark was very nice and the overall service was great. We got the beignets to start which were delicious. Then I got the fried chicken which was great. It wasn't too spicy. Would recommend!
Just stopped by for a drink and stayed for 100 more. This was so yummy if you like sweet drinks. Service at bar and patio starts at 4pm didn't do dinner here but it seemed to be very popular.
