Wow! The owner welcomed us by holding the door open and shaking our hands, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The service was exceptional. This is easily the best steak restaurant we've ever visited! I highly recommend making a reservation and enjoying a meal at Halls. They make you feel like family! They were also very accommodating with dietary requests; they could make anything fried gluten-free! My husband and I have decided this will be our go-to spot whenever we visit Charleston! Thank you, Halls, for a wonderful experience!
The most amazing dining experience of my life. My husband and I went to Halls in Charleston to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and they pulled out all stops, we felt so cared for and everyone was so friendly! The food was incredible, the best steak I?ve ever had hands down! The sides were delicious too and the bourbon bread pudding was a great way to top off the perfect meal. We already can?t wait to go back! Thank you Halls for an incredible dinner! All these five star
Very nice place to dine. For me it was about the customer service. The owner or head manager and assistant manager welcomed us several times and sincerely wanted us to have a great experience. The two team waiter team was phenomenal! And the live music. Wow! OUTSTANDING! However... you will not hear the live music while sitting in the dining room. Only in the bar area. We had field green salad, salmon, fried green tomatoes, and the shrimp and grits, and chocolate cake.
What a way to be greeted when entering. Lots of staff and owner giving a warm welcome. Make sure to make reservations in advance. We got lucky to get in same day. Food was great. Service was excellent. Steaks were perfect. Dry aged ribeye was the most flavorful steak I've ever had. I've had dessert tray presentations but not a steak cut presentation. Highly recommend. 1a) French Toast (if you enjoy sweet dishes, this is amazing and our family's top choice) 1b) Shrimp and Grits (for those who prefer savory, these shrimp and grits are fantastic) 3) Traditional Eggs Benedict 4) Prime Rib Eggs Benedict 5) Sweet Potato Pancakes I just wish we could have tried more dishes!
Unbelievably the best restaurant we’ve ever been too! From the greeting at the door to the wonderful service from our waitress Megan we were blown away!!! The steaks are amazing and cooked to perfection! Bread pudding is a must for dessert! Can’t wait to go back when we are back in SC!
