We absolutely loved this restaurant, which was highly recommended to me by a friend in the service industry. The food is seasonal and straightforward, allowing the ingredients to truly shine, all within a charming neighborhood atmosphere that balances elegance and comfort—our favorite kind of place! We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious, but the standout was the grilled zucchini topped with stracciatella cheese, pistou, and what I believe was sauvignon blanc vinegar; pairing it with the flatbread was a great way to enjoy the flavorful sauce. Service was great, ambiance was lovely. But. The half chicken was poor quality. Skin on, felt like it was breaded, only a tiny bit of meat. Throttled with oils and salt to mask the lack of quality, and 28 for a dish with no sides. The meal was probably 100 calories before you consider the skin, the breading, and the excessive oils/salt/seasoning. Only after the unhealthy add-ons does it even begin to approach a satisfying meal.
