"This place has been reliable throughout the pandemic. The food is always good, as are the portions and prices. I especially like the rice dishes (shrimp with lobster sauce or salt/pepper pork chops? Yum! and the dinner options. It’s great to have an authentic Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood as it prevents having to schlep to Flushing"

As much as I want to support this restaurant, I cannot as the quality of food and service has diminished drastically since the last couple times we've been there. While I do understand the pandemic has impacted service, it doesn't excuse cleanliness in utensils, plates and cups. These are the basics of restaurant...the tea cups were filthy and you can feel the dried sticky oil while holding the cup. It wasn't just one tea cup but several. The utensil were pretty dirty as well. They blamed the dishwasher machine, but if this is a known issue, they know better to double check before placing it out to customers. It just feels the mgmt doesn't care. As for the food, I was expecting the banquet menu to be impressive. We paid top dollar for preset dishes and all were mediocre. Many dishes either lacked taste or were too salty. The names of the dishes sounded very extravagant in chinese, but taste and quality lacked substance. I would not recommend the overly priced banquet menu. I was VERY disappointed to say the least....rather than continuing to trash this restaurant, I will leave it as that and that they've lost my business. Never again....2 thumbs down from a very dissatisfied customer.

I come here every so often, sometimes for take out, sometimes to dine in. The last time I ate there around closing, there was no one in the restaurant, and one server. He didn't wear any gloves of any sort and I can't recall if he wore a mask or not but a bit later, I'm guessing his friends came in to have a dinner together. In one of the other back rooms, (but still visible), they had hotpot and weren't too quiet about it. He did not check up on us at all and it didn't seem to welcoming. The food was good however the unprofessionalism here makes me question this place a bit. It might just be the pandemic, but pre-pandemic a few years ago, it was very comforting, but this time it seemed very uninviting.

The moment we walked in, area looked clean, waitress seemed friendly. Sat down , cup, plates were filthy, we're not talking about just one cup few cups were filthy. It felt like it wasnt thoroughly cleaned. It had a extra layer of sud. I had to self service myself for CLEAN settings. Most dishes were horrible. From extremely salty to extremely bland . Chicken looked like it was brought outside, chopped and placed on the plate. Jellyfish was extremely salty. Lobster with sticky rice was extremely bland. Only the soup was tasty. There were only ONE waitress serving 4 tables in the restaurant. When it was time to cut a birthday cake, waitress brings out a butcher knife. Never again!

Bad experience, place is dirty, bad service, food have a hair and the chicken was undercooked, when informed the waiter, he took the chicken and just hot it up n bring it back, when I talked about the hair the waiter looked at me as if it's my fault, didn't even apologize for nothing... we had to leave our food that was paid for and walk away, n I ended up throwing up after... worst ever... don't recommend....
