I've been dining at Ichiban for years, and I used to enjoy the buffet and really loved the sushi. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. My last few visits have left me quite disappointed. The quality of the buffet has significantly declined, and they were only offering four types of sushi rolls. Even then, I had to make multiple trips to sample them—not because they were being devoured as quickly as they were made, which I would understand, but simply because they weren’t making enough. I’ve lost my enthusiasm for this place and won't be returning.
What? You haven't been here yet? Make sure to come hungry and prepared for a feast! The food is outstanding. On Friday and Saturday evenings, they offer an impressive selection of seafood, including fresh oysters on the half shell, and the sushi bar gets an upgrade for the weekend too. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. This is definitely my favorite buffet in Central Mississippi!
This is my second time coming here and overpaying for below average food. I believe in giving everyone a second chance, but I got very sick both times after eating it. They are putting something in the food to make you full faster but makes you violently ill. First asian buffet I have been to that half the food is just american food. Should of been my first hint.
We had a pleasant experience at the restaurant, despite the rudeness of the hostess who seated us. I was determined not to let her behavior impact our family outing. However, we probably won't return to the location in Pearl.

It was very busy Saturday night while we were there. Buffet stay busy was out of some items for only a few minutes. Service was as expected.
