I've been here twice so far. They have a large dining area on one side and hibachi seating on the other side of the restaurant. The portions here are huge! The first time we came we had the miso Chilean sea bass and chicken teriyaki. The miso Chilean sea bass was very good, and the only good dish. The chicken teriyaki had no flavor. The second time I tried the chicken and shrimp hibachi. The chicken was dry! The fried rice wasn't anything great, but the noodles were good. They barely put any sauce on the chicken and shrimp hibachi like other Japanese restaurants do. They didn't give you any dipping sauces that usually come with hibachi either. Once we were seated and had placed our orders, we waited over 40 minutes for the chef to come and start cooking. The food was generally decent and plentiful, but the chef didn’t put much effort into the show; he only banged his spatulas together for about 20 seconds. The service left a lot to be desired as well, with two uncoordinated waitresses attending to our table. When I requested a drink refill, I ended up with Coke instead of iced tea. I had to ask for salt at least six times before it finally arrived.
I understand that holidays can make things busier for restaurants, but this was by far our worst experience at Ichiban.
Great place for hibachi. My 13 year old son said he was really hungry so he got the dinner trio which was a good amount of meat. And so much fried rice and noodles. I didn't even use the sauces as the meat was well seasoned but everyone said the yum yum sauce was delicious. The two of us had more than enough leftovers for another big meal. We were celebrating a birthday there and they come out and sing and bang a gong which was fun. The chef was quite good juggled flaming torches.
We went for a birthday party. They were very nice but they barely did anything on the grill that was fun or funny; pretty much just cooked our food. It was after the meal that they get 3 stars, they gave the bill as were sorting things to pay and finishing packing up our belongings and our drinks they came around 2x to ask if everything was okay and then another time to just stare at us as if we were taking too long for them when it actuality it was not even five minutes.

I had a great experience at this Japanese Hibachi restaurant! I was pleasantly surprised to find it bustling on a weekday. We started with a sushi roll as an appetizer while we waited for the chef to prepare our meals. The noodles and steak were fantastic—perfectly seasoned and cooked just the way we wanted. It was a lovely dining experience, and I can't wait to try more items from the menu. Highly recommended!
We checked out this place recently and are so happy we did. The food, ambience, and service were all exceptional. Everything our party of five ordered was delicious and fresh. We live local and will definitely be returning regularly. The restaurant was also so clean. Definitely grab a meal here; you will not be disappointed!
In terms of kid-friendliness, the experience is entertaining, but if your child is afraid of fire or sensitive to loud noises, this might not be the best choice for you. As for parking, it is shared with other businesses in the shopping plaza, but there is plenty of space available.
Always good , been going for years. Great Hibachi Restaurant. Great Service.Cooks are very accommodating to allergies too. Over all place is a 41/2 stars.Very clean . Also resturant side is also very good as well.Food: 4/5
