Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse And Sushi

I was only twice at this place and both of them had bad service. Today we decided to have sushi (I lived 17 years in socal and had some of the best and worst sushi there. there is a lot of sushi in the opposite of la, so I know sushi as well as I digress, we went around 12:05 I know because I looked at my watch. we were greeted by the hostess and said we should have taken one table. there were only 2 other tables occupied by the males, and one of them was a worker. we sat there while the other tables waited twice, got their controls and so. we hadn't even said of a waitress to hi. then at 12:15 another couple went in and was immediately waiting while we were sitting there for 10 minutes. so...

I usually love Ichiban and I come here frequently, however the last two times I have gone the service has been extremely slow. It took over an hour just to get out soup and salad. Our sushi came out after our meals, and we ordered them as an appetizer so that was unenjoyable. The food was already getting cold when we received it (we sat at a booth) and that was also not great. I have no intentions on going back for a while because this was disappointing.

This was my 1st time eating at a Japanese Steakhouse, my wife has been to several of them across the country. Overall we both enjoyed our meals, the food was excellent, the service and staff were as well. Our chef was very entertaining and did a great job preparing our food for us and the portions were quite generous, we both brought home a lunch box portion to enjoy later. We will be back.

Decent. Still NO menu's. Service was OK. Didn't receive what we ordered together. Once the last dish came, it was Luke warm. The sushi was average. Not much flavor, wasn't told what each one was. Iam hoping they were having an off night, but probably won't be back for a while. Réservez une table maintenant

We stopped in for sushi at lunch time. The servers are great, the restaurant seemed clean and tidy. The rolls weren't the best I've ever had, but for the price they were fair. Everything seemed fresh and was well plated.

the food was better. everything is cooked in a boiled butter. gave me food poisoning. I also think this place should throw the teppich mainly because the chefs like to eat to the guests and miss the half of the time.

rolls were bland, we have 4 different types of rolling. the sauces were good. we sat like the personal. They helped two other couples who came after us before they recognized us.

After being seated the service was timely. It was a fun experience to have them cook right in front of us. The chef was very friendly and interactive. Food was good. Réservez une table maintenant

Great service and servers, lovely decorations, though I am not one on sea food at all but they do got something for everyone, great place to go with anyone
