Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere was welcoming and quiet. We were seated promptly and ordered the crab dip as an appetizer, which was delicious. The cocktails we ordered were also good. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn that the ribeye was not available, so I settled for the Crab topped tilapia with asparagus and Cajun fries. The dish lacked flavor, requiring extra seasoning to taste better. My date's crab cakes also lacked flavor, as did her cream corn and Mac cheese. Overall, the drinks were decent, but the food left much to be desired. This restaurant may be suitable for a quick happy hour, but not much more.
This place has lost its touch honestly. I ordered Maki Rolls Combo (M1 Maki Combination A) usually when I order it the tuna maki rolls are made with minced tuna and with cucumber in it. Both of the yellowtable and tuna arrived with whole pieces of tuna and yellowtale without cucumber and not minced which I usually get it made differently. Really disappointed this place used to be one of my favorite places in the DMV area.
So disappointed. We love the food here and have been going for years and slowly each time the service has gotten worse and worse. At some point you have to cut your losses and know the value of your dollar. I think we deserve good service, much less to be treated decently when paying over $100 each meal. We will not be returning.

Fun restaurant right next door to the Arlington Shirlington Hilton. Tried the Lotus cocktail and it didn't disappoint. The sushi selection had something for everyone. A+ on the shrimp tempura roll. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. Great stop over for an easy lunch or dinner.
I've been to Ichiban several times; mostly for the delicious Spicy miso ramen which is the tastiest one I've had in this area so far. The broth is flavorful and they give a decent amount of protein. The rolls are good too.Food: 5/5
No offense but I’ve had way better sushi and ramen. The chicken in the ramen was very suspect to me. The flavor was odd. The cali roll was so bland. Overall, I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are better options.
The ramen noodles are fantastic, prepared and slow-cooked over 12 hours on the same day. The sushi is also incredibly fresh. Grace is a wonderful hostess!
