My family and I went out to eat at IHOP after church. Normally this IHOP in st andrews road is really good with great customer service. That was not the case yesterday. We sat down to be waited on for like 10 minutes. My husband had to call for someone to come take our order. It was a bunch of employees sitting down playing and laughing with each other at a booth beside us. The guy that was working in that section acted as if he didn't want to service us. So they sent someone else to be our server. Her name was Skylar she was great. Unprofessional waiter/ cashier I asked for my pancakes if I can have my pancakes the same size due to one was clearly bigger than the other..Also the smaller pancake was underneath the bigger one..I 'm a paying customer..Why laugh at me instead of justfixing the pancakes to my liking..The cook came out from the back and basically mocked me ..Explaining very loudly how pancakesare pancakes..What size should the pancakes be..8 6 ..How rude ..I have supported this IHOP location 7 years including duringthe pandemic...You have lost a customer..Also the special went up in price and no substitute...Don 't try to make the customerfeel their in the wrong because I want my pancakes to be the same size...
I arrived at 8:57pm from a neiboring town, with the understanding that they close at 10:00pm. Other than a patron waiting for a pickup,the restaurant was completely empty. They were already cleaning and ready to close. My server seemed disappointed that Iwas there to dine-in. After seating me she didn't come back for ten minutes. We were early to meet our 3rd person, and the parking lot seemed very full, so we went in to put our name on the waiting list and, surprisingly there were plenty of tables so we were seated immediately, before our third person arrived. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful, got our drinks, and checked back periodically while we were waiting. The food was excellent and we truly enjoyed the entire experience! I’ve been to alot of different IHOP restaurants. This one on 813 St Andrews RD hasn’t been disappointing! Sure you have the typical busy hours during Sunday’s after church but for the most part I get in with ease. I never had problem with customer and the food is usually always on point.
