Horrible service. Had a family of 13 come in and refused to let us seat at the private room knowing there was 6 kids on top of that. I see a lot of horrible reviews of this place making people wait 30 minutes with tables available and it’s true. We decided not to stay the wait and as we used the restroom real quick, a group of employees standing in kitchen watching people walk by and not at ALL working. Do better. If I could, I wouldn’t rate this place 1 star at all but it’s unfortunate I have to to even POST this comment..
The restaurant was well-maintained and the service was satisfactory. It would have been helpful to have another waiter to help with the busy lunch rush. Despite the crowd, we were able to get our orders in on time. The Ginger French Toast was delicious, as was the Rise and Shine dish. Although the food took a bit longer than expected, it arrived hot and fresh. Make sure to order an extra side of Ginger crumbles if you enjoy a strong ginger flavor, as it is relatively mild without it.
The food at this restaurant was tasty, although it was served warm rather than hot. The service was incredibly slow, but this was not the fault of the server, who was the only one responsible for all tables in a slightly busy restaurant. I believe this was due to poor management. The restaurant should consider hiring more staff, better scheduling for peak times, or increasing wages to attract more employees.
