This was my worst restaurant experience in Sulphur Springs, TX. First, I found a dead fly in my hash browns. After that, no one came by to offer us refills, and all our glasses were empty. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with a larger group, so we asked another waitress for refills. She treated us dismissively, as if we had done something wrong just for asking for assistance. This wasn't the first time I encountered her attitude. I also observed her being rude to other customers. I won't be returning to this place. Our experience at the restaurant was quite frustrating due to the service. Our waitress, Sarah, was extremely slow. We waited what felt like 30 minutes just to place our drink orders. While the food arrived in a timely manner, we ended up waiting another 30 minutes for our bill. To make matters worse, we waited an additional 10-15 minutes for them to process our payment while they attended to four other tables, including one that arrived after we had already received our food. We were trying to save our cash for gas until our next paycheck, and I had a gift card that I needed to use. Came in on a Monday morning at 8a.m while passing through town, it was empty and looked closed. We walked in and we were seated right away. After sitting down we noticed the floor needed to be swept. We got our food pretty quick and eggs weren't correct, my husband didn't bother complaining bc by this time we'd visited the bathroom and it was filthy both men's and women's. There's no reason why the place should be this dirty at 8 a.m with slow business. They need to wipe the clear covid screens that are smudged with little hand crusted prints. Window panes had food, syrup containers were sticky. We won't be back and I'm writing this review so I know not to go back.

Our experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The waitress mixed up our order, and then my friend's plate had a dead fly on it. We also never received our appetizer, and when we asked another staff member about it, she responded with an attitude. Because of this experience, we won’t be returning, especially since Mary, who has been there for 7 years and worked at IHOP for 30, should know better.
