So many people had recommended Il Falcone to us that when we had a special occasion this was the place we wanted to go and the meal was everything we could have hoped for. Due to Covid 19 the restaurant posted clear information about how the menu and pricing would work as well as the safety measures in place. Our server gave great descriptions of the offerings plus specials making it hard to make our selections from all the amazing choices. Our appetizers were fantastic; I enjoyed a mussel and prawn bisque and my husband had prosciutto wrapped figs (from the tree we were eating besides) with greens. at last it has made this little jewel tonight. independent of the weather we have provided the beautiful terrace with the ceilings they have provided. server was beautiful and explained the menu wonderful. the hostess was adorable and I wanted to take her home! Eating was amazing and the aromen from this world! because it was so busy, eating took a little, but every minute of waiting worth! the owner barkeeper is a **** legendary! note that eating took a bit and free glasses wein that tasted like liquid gold! 100% recommend this wonderful device for both the food and the service! can not wait to come back and try the cook selection menu! great job hunting!
We are Calgarians and went to Il Falcone for our anniversary dinner while on the island for the Second time. It was an amazing meal. Chef's tasting menu was excellent; well balanced with perfect portion sizes. Paired wines were outstanding and complimented the dishes very well. The service was very good. Everyone was kind and attentive. The owner or manager/ somolier was engaging and descriptive when describing the wines. Overall vibe was relaxed and comfortable, in a garden oasis. Thank you for an excellent experience again. We will be back.
something new. small living has many places with a set menu and perhaps a weekly special, that is beautiful, but it lacks creativity. cook here is an art and it delights my senses through the combination, the look, the taste, the smell, the texture. I love cooking inspired and eating and people here do. the staff here is warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed every minute and will fry over this meal and try to mimic these dishes in my house. thanks, cassidy and crew for a wonderful night. what an incredible restaurant! every last thing in this special place is well thought out, from the facility to excellent cocktail program. the service was impeccable and it is very clear that the employees go beyond and beyond to make everyone feel special here. every dish was created and perfectly spiced. what a tasty bite for the comox valley to have a restaurant of this kaliber! I can't wait to dinate here again if I'm back to visit!
Stop scrolling and make a reservation already! Last week, our reception dinner venue fell through near last minute for our wedding. We called Il Falcone and they opened the restaurant for our reception! The whole team there was extremely welcoming and professional. Best anywhere! The wine list is top tier, food is simply outstanding and the atmosphere made us feel so special on our day! Thank you so much Il Falcone!!!!!
my wife and I were treated by our children to the New Year's special dinner in il falcone. we are long time dwellers of the comox valley, and while this was our first visit, but it will not be our last! the food was delicious and the service was personal. the owner and the personal have a possibility that everyone feels special, and each product (food or drink) is served with an exciting background story.
We ended up having my best friends wedding dinner here due to a late change of plans and Il Falcone accommodated by opening for us on a Sunday. This was already above and beyond expectations. But then the food, presentation and service was absolutely incredible! They saved the evening and made a huge impression on everyone in attendance. Incredible experience. The food was fresh, delicious and memorable. The staff were all welcoming and so friendly! We will come back many times.
