il Giallo Osteria Bar

we made a reservation for a date night about 2 weeks ago. we arrived at 6:55 for our 6:45 clock reservation (by traffic) we called to let them know. we sat at a low table at the bar, with the people constantly going from us to the bathroom, in contrast to a regular table. our server was short-tempered and had no smile. it was an average experience. we love eating and we really wanted to enjoy a date night as my man often travels. we will not go back soon.

we had the frutti de mar. mine was with spinat instead pasta. my man had the black linguini. it was excellent as it is always! probably our favorite and best Italian dish in atlanta. the resistance is always excellent. we share a Caesar salad and had garlic focaccia brot. only a delicious meal. we can't wait to come back and have it back!

Service was very poor. We had to chase down the waiter to take our order, refill water and bring our checks-then checks were incorrect. Food mediocre, prices high for what we got. We had eaten here before COVID and had a much better experience. Will not go back.

The food is delicious, the service warm and friendly, and every evening there is enjoyable. The pasta is particularly good. Sharon at the bar is always so friendly and your newest server, Sam, was beyond terrific. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a great dinner at the bar and Sharon provided excellent service. It was fantastic to be able to customize my favorite dish to be gluten-free!

Excellent food, crazy lasagna is crazy good. Portions are good and large.
