We just popped in for coffee and then decided on a snack. The coffee came fairly quickly, in fact the Barista seemed to be the only one actually working. While we waited, and waited for our snack i.e. avocado on sourdough bread and a ham and cheese crossant, whiled away the time just looking about me. The place was shabby and not very tidy dare I say clean??? Plastic bags just thrown on the floor, tables cleared away very slowly with a cursory wipe and the food under the table just left. The place was not very full, doing more take away coffee than anything else. A couple who came in after us got their order first and lo and behold she had avocado on sourdough!!!! Did she get mine???? Eventu...
As someone who has to have gluten free food and usually almond milk in my coffee, I have to hunt for cafes that meet my silly food requirements. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this gem of a place.I have seen some other reviews saying the service wasn't great and that baffles me as all the staff that I saw were friendly, approachable and accommodating. You also pay a really reasonable price for the food & coffee so I can't see any issues here.Love place, pop in if you're in the area.
