Wanted to try this place for a while but never managed to fit my schedule. Finally tried it and boy it was good. The experience from beginning to end was just perfect. Loved all the paintings in the restaurant, and the decorations felt like you were in a restaurant in Italy. Great service, great food and nice background on everything from ingredients to food. Everything was organic, fresh and delivered very quickly. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente with flour imported from Sicily and made fresh in the restaurant. The ricotta was also made at the restaurant and it was perfectly fresh. The gnocchi was great just perfect and the dessert was next level good. Even the cocktails felt fresh...
We had a fantastic experience at Il Nido, a charming local restaurant tucked away along Route 9. After years of passing by and receiving numerous recommendations, we finally decided to give it a try. The pasta with mushrooms was absolutely delicious; we wished we could soak up every bit of the flavorful broth with bread. The dining room has a cozy and romantic atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a meal. We will definitely be returning!
The food and service was great. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for high quality food and service. The pasta dishes was just right, the aged ribeye was medium rare as we like it and the wagu short rib was the star of the night. Don’t forget the dessert, blood orange panna cotta with honey comb is a must try if you like the taste of sweet and citrusy. We will return to try the other dishes.
We had dinner with friends on Saturday nights. We sat outside on the patio. It was very cozy and comfortable because of the heating unit. Everyone liked their meals. We had an amazing grilled octopus appetizer and few others. For main meal, mushroom lasagna was the star. Service was great and we would definitely come back when in the area.

The food was beautiful, but unfortunately basic taste and so so seasoning made it underwhelming. The service could have used a smile, at least once, at least. The best part was the coziness of the place. It sets the right mood the moment one walks in, but it slides down from that point forward.
I was recommended this place. I enjoyed the music, the food was good but pricey in my opinion. A concern is that the service was a bit slow and no one really came by to see if we needed anything else.
Food was great. Had the Short Ribs meal love it. Loved the crispy potatoes Wish the service would pass by more, had to raise my hand to get the waiter.
Food was okay pasta was very salty. A bit expensive for the quality, was a little disappointed. One of the cocktails we had was NOT good
