A small Italian restaurant that is a bit pricey. We went here for Christmas Eve dinner and the atmosphere was nice. Michael our waiter was good. The duck pasta was flavorful and tender. I liked that they made their own pasta noodles. The seafood pasta was plain and there didn’t seem to be enough seafood in it. The prosciutto wrapped trout was really good. The flavor was there and I loved the sauce. The polenta was different and a bit dry. The tiramisu was delicious and tasted like it should.
I visited Il Piatto twice during my spring trip to Santa Fe. I had the pleasure of trying their delicious Happy Hour menu with amazing food at a great price. The service was excellent and the staff was very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a reservation for 7:45 didn’t get seated till 8:30. Hostess was really rude and service was slow. We didn’t expect that kind of Service from a place like this.
