Soooooo good-food was amazing! Staff seemed annoyed that we took a while to order, but I understand, I work in restaurants as a GM and our party was an annoying party of 8 that would not decide and needed a few minutes to catch up, however the table, or really no table turned for dinner, so we were not rushed, just felt to order rushed. Server probably was just trying to make sure we were taken care of. Service was fantastic, don't understand why they weren't busier but was a mid week day and we were tourists so may be location as well! This place was amazing, perfect hospitality from every employee! Highly recommend
I 've been going there ever since I started working in the area- food is very consistent and always wonderful, especially I 'm in love with their home made cheese! I used to live in Queens and one day I remember thinking I need to bring this to my husband! So I brought their yummy pasta and a couple other dishes even though it was a 2 hr. trip- Just to say how special their food is. Now we live in Dobbs Ferry, this is always our go-to spot when we go out! William, the owner of the restaurant, really cares what goes out to each customer and you just want to keep going back. I recently visited Il Sorriso for a group gathering and I was quite let down by the food. They served us a complimentary bean dip that appeared appetizing, but unfortunately tasted strongly of vinegar. The chicken dish we ordered didn't have the Italian flavors we expected and instead tasted more like Chinese cuisine. Everything seemed to lack seasoning, especially the pasta appetizer. The lack of salt in the pasta water resulted in a bland taste. Although the service was decent, I was unimpressed with the food and do not plan on returning to the restaurant.

Visited this restaurant for dinner while on a business trip in the area. We were impressed by the lovely view and well-maintained interior. The prices were reasonable, with a $5 glass of wine and a delicious starter of PEI mussels. The bread was especially tasty when dipped in the sauce. I ordered the pappardelle with shrimp and it was excellent. My husband had the fettuccine with sausage, plum tomatoes, and mushrooms and it was delicious, served hot and fresh. As a picky home cook of Italian dishes myself, I highly recommend this restaurant.
I can't understand why this place only has 3.5 stars. Finding homemade pasta in westchester is few and far between. Especially coupled with good service. Carlos our server was amazing from the start. I found this hidden gem on Facebook and will definitely be back. The burrata appetizer was delicious. The homemade pasta was refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone! It seems as though they have great happy hour specials as well.
After seeing much advertising decided to give it a try. Zafat rating as well. Upon entering there's s bar. Oddly no one was sitting there. Nice, spacious, pizza oven in center of room. The staff was fine. Nothing fabulous. Have experienced much better restaurants. Food was fine, except next day had stomach upset. Not sure I'd return. Overrated. Sorry can't say any better.

Fantastic food! Held surprise Bday party for 40. William ran the evening seamlessly. Food delicious service impeccable location lovely as it looks out at Hudson. They delivered big time.
Despite mixed reviews we had a great dinner and the service was very attentive All 4 of us enjoyed our meals and the presentation was lovely
