Excellent dining experience with a BIG BUT and small complaint. We’ve been there on a number of occasions but on our last visit everything, all of a sudden, was a la carte. Normally entrees at an Italian eatery come with pasta of some sort but at Villagio a side dish of spaghetti costs $7.95 which in my opinion is somewhat excessive when meals are in the $35 range. Maybe they think they’re a steak house. In addition, gratuities must be in cash and you don’t find this out until you get the bill. (Put this on the menu) Will miss going here but my wallet won’t.
Service is terrible! 45 minutes to get an appetizer which was terrible. It was cold and lacked taste. 1 person taking food orders. They charged us 38 for each martini. To add insult they didn't even offer free coffee or dessert for the terrible service. 3.99 surcharge for credit cards and tips are required to be in cash (I hope they claim the income). I would never go back to this place they are so many better places to eat in my opinion like Dennys.
The open floor plan makes it nearly impossible to have a conversation without raising your voice. The bar offers a limited selection of drinks. The waitress accidentally bumped my head with a dish while bringing my food to the table, and later she dropped the silverware on my leg. Calling the experience mediocre would be generous.
Good food, family atmosphere although there were no children at all in the restaurant. Nice place to have a comfortably paced Italian meal had a nice bottle of wine. Tables were well spaced and it doesn't appear to be a high volume restaurant, more quaint.

This is my new favorite Italian spot! I picked up take-out for the family and the service was great. They even threw in a complimentary bottle of wine. The Sorentino was to-die-for. My wife's Chicken Parm was best we've ever had. I can't wait to go back!

Dinner was incredible! Fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Personable, friendly service. Family run with a comfortable cozy atmosphere. Love it!
Nice and quiet, good food. Fair prices would prefer if they had real clams instead of just a little cockles. Of the net I'll be back.
