had a wonderful night in this great small restaurant in a unique track in potts point. we shared various tellers under our party of 8 and no one was disappointed. it was hard to choose a favorite, but the muddles were hard to beat. our hostess recommended amazing beer and weeping to accompany our eating and I really enjoyed the poached pears for dessert. it was a cool night, but we were kept warm under the outside heating....a really top place to fine din. highly recommended.

The struggle of aimlessly drifting along mazes supermarkets call “isles”; struggling to absorb impenetrable food label jargon; eyeing down that seemingly tempting $7.5 for 3 bunch of Asian veg yet refusing to admit that half of it will spoil. And then there’s the act of cooking itself – what a BOTHER. Wouldn’t it be nice to throw caution to the wind, clear your mind, and take yourself to Impromptu Dining where everything’s taken care for you?
definitiw you have to go to the restaurant when you are in the potts Point/Kings Cross area. among their neighbours they deliver something unique in the llankelly Place-Laneway. eating was amazing, and the service is excellent. personal favorit were the muscheln with lick, fennel cream, they were the perfect winter dish at a cold night and the eclairs with green teedulce de leche were excellent! definitely come back!
came across this restaurant one evening in a familiar part of Kings Cross / Potts Point. We liked the look of the menu but the Chef's Choice was suggested - this consisted of 10 plates to share - each one was great with each dish explained to us and they kept on coming. At the end we all felt we had enjoyed a gourmet blast of exquisite and varied food - will definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant
I tried Impromptu for brunch this weekend. It is divine! Everything was such a pleasant surprise - the food, service, atmosphere, decor... The menu is really unusual and completely delicious. I had the poached eggs with ham hock broth and it was to die for - perfect for a winters day. You couldn't fault the service and the space is really beautiful. I'll definitely be back!
lace candle between kings cross and pots point. had some fantastic oldest and gin cocktails and then the cook pick menu that was like a small disarmament. loved every cure, good eating, good cocktails, great service, what not to like!
Disappointing experience. Servings are too small for the price, the cuts of red meat are low quality, plates are served with no thought to pairing of foods (like serving the vegetables with meat dishes) and delivery is slow.
Went here for a friend's birthday. Cute little place in a Lane way of restaurants. Food was lovely and different. We had a variety of dishes, blood sausage with prok crackling was fun and tasty, I liked the Lamb cutlets. Réservez une table maintenant
Pleasant experience all savoury dishes were really good, but we were disappointed with the desert (stodgy donuts). Unfortunately the only other desert option was a bit boring (poached pear and vanilla ice cream).

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
