We were looking for an Indian restaurant to go to and always passed Indian memories so decided to read the reviews, there were reviews about the bad service but there were some good ones about the service, and now we can see why, they were regular customers. The place is looking quite tired both outside and inside. The member of staff looking after us lacked basic customer service skills. He didn’t really acknowledge us and just seemed to not really want to be there. I ordered a lemonade which was completely flat. We ordered pakora and samosa starters which were very small portions considering the price and quality. They both came with a very sad ‘side salad’ which was just a tiny portion of wilted shredded lettuce and a few slices of red onion. Simply awful quality for the food delivered for the price charged. Cold and readily awful. We ordered 3 dishes with rice , chips starters . The chips were cold , the naan bread was cold and stodgy . The curries were tasteless and fir the price charged it’s hard not to feel absolutely ripped off ! We also ordered poppadoms and threw them out because the were stale . From my point of view I’ll never again use their facility to order food !
Unplanned midweek visit with some colleagues and not sure what to expect. Restaurant was very quiet but it was quite early so I guess not unusual. Welcome was friendly and service was good food was very good and portions were generous. Only downside for me was that the only beer they had was bottled not the end of the world but never quite the same. Overall, cost was ok and I will probably return as it is very convenient to workplace.

Very poor compared with other restaurants in the area. I waited 25 mins for my first course which when arrived was just about warm, second course meat was very chewy and tastless the potatoes in the sag aloo were cold in the middle. I gave up at this stage and had a glass of water. First time and last at this place, waiter was poor at his job and to cap it all I had a bill for 39 quid!
We ordered a takeaway last night and the quality was great! Tasted freshly made, still hot and must be the best keema naan I’ve ever tasted! Always very reliable, lovely staff and quick service. Wouldn’t use another in Gloucester!
My food was ok, but hubby was not at all impressed with his and if fact didn’t eat much of it. I have eaten in many India Restaurant and this one was by far the worst. Also when the bill arrived t thought it very expensive.
Both the food and the service were fantastic. Very welcoming and made like you were at home. Food is very tasty, we took the let overs and enjoyed the next day as well. Highly recommended.

I have wanted to visit here for a while as is on my doorstep. The service was a little slow despite the restaurant only having a couple of other guests. The food was nice.
Great food great people, always welcoming and friend staff. Food always hot and fresh . Recommended
