After days of Dutch and German food in Amsterdam and Berlin, we decided to try out an Indian restaurant in Berlin. We started our meal off with some appetizers: samosas, onion bhaji, and panir pakora. The appetizers were pretty good, but I was most impressed by the samosas. For my entree, I chose to try Shahi Bengan (eggplant stuffed with homemade cheese, nuts, and raisins in piquant sauce). It was okay but I couldn't really taste the cheese, nuts, or raisins the sauce overpowered the taste of the eggplant or its stuffing.
