JUBEL really does a good job in presenting their cakes. It looks beautiful and taste great. You pay 3-5€ for a small little piece that last 4-5 bites. What we tried: 1) New York Cheesecake 8/10: the best so far in our opinion but not like super outstanding 2) Cream puff 7/10: great taste but we had better ones and for 3€ it's a short and little pleasure 3) chocolate brownie 5/10: it's almost too nutty and also just average somehow. Nothing special besides the presentation obviously 4) Raspberry 4/10: nothing special 5) Dark chocolate 4/10: same as above 6) Goat cheese 6/10: of you love goat cheese it's interesting to have. Best pâtisserie in Germany so far. They offer special desserts with uncommon ingredients. I personally like unique desserts over classic/plain ones. Chocolate mousse one is made with date and Tonka, the goat cheese one is with goat cheese, kumquat, bergamot-very unique combination and I loved the flavor. This will be my regular spot everytime I visit Berlin. Highly recommended.
There is always a scent of cinnamon, chocolate and melting butter in the air. The coffee is really good and the tartlets even better. Jubel is a mixture of food that becomes art, delicious mixtures of the best ingredients, beautiful interior and the nicest staff and patissiers.
