When we first went behind the counter in one of the guys, we greeted and asked if we had a falafel. I didn't think he gave us any falafel. It was delicious. After looking at the menu we have ordered each. You can tell them how sharp you want your order, which vegetables and sauces you want. We have every pack. The packaging could in any case be a divisible size, as they were really big. The picture below is half the package I ordered. Falafels are free when a pack is added. They made salads for an order and they were also HUGE portions. So I guess all her stuff is big. There are tables to sit and eat and the tables were clean. All staff were very friendly. For three packs, three filled soft drinks and a bottled water, the cost was $48. Good price for the portions and service!
We stopped from International Pocket Cafe on the way back to CT from Newport. It's been a while since I had some circles, and my wife and I ordered the gyro battle. My children got sandwiches 1 chicken salad sandwich, 1 tuna salad sandwich and 1 BLT sandwich. The food was made fresh (besides the tuna salad and the chicken salad), and we liked that there were many veggie options. The children liked their sandwiches containing frits, and the frits seemed to be cut in the house. Service was friendly and fast. Next time we visit Newport.
I made the Gyro dish and it was a great choice. The rice was moist and filled with taste. The sauces were definitely homemade. The gyro meat was thin and delicately cut. The tasty hummus was a big winner and the Pita chips were also really good. I would see if you could order something extra hummus because it was so good!
The owner of this place makes sure the food is fresh, the servings are reasonable, and the prices are right. I call for a taboule salad, and he even throws in a small container of hummus and tahini for free. this place and will always return each week for great fresh and healthy food.
