Irish Murphy's - Réservation de table

Being the weekend of the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, we knew getting into somewhere to eat would be difficult. I checked reviews and menus of places and booked into Irish Murthy’s in Salamanca Place for dinner, about a month ago. We arrived at this place...and we’re told “we’re not taking any more meal orders”. Like WTF??? We booked for dinner!!!! I understand they would have had a very busy day, but thats no excuse for the girl being quite rude about it. No “we are really sorry but we aren’t taking any more meal orders because …. And perhaps you can try …..” just, “we’re not taking any more meal orders”. I asked to speak with the manager and was made to wait another 15 minutes before h...

My husband loves an Irish pub, so our visit, and we were to some who are safe! I was able to ring in advance and book what was helpful as they were pretty busy being the Easter weekend. In a really great location near the water, it is a good area to explore the time. We all enjoyed our meals, seafood salad was sensational and unlike anything I had before! My men's only complaint is that the steak was a little understated to his wishes.The pins of Guinness but made him very happy!

Stopped by at Irish Murphy’s to get a Guiness and decided to stay for food. Beef and Guinness pie was wonderfully delicious. Fish and chips okay. Then had a few games of pool. Staff were friendly and professional. Recommend the pie !

Nice pub, basic food. Nice staff. The fish and chips were not crispy but ok, good size meals. Felt sorry for manager he was having kitchen issues and it took over an hour to get our meal.

Serving warm sparking wine in warm glasses. No light beer on two occasions. Nearly all foreign inexperienced staff. No local feel. What goes?

A good pub in an old building. Big beer in front and back in the pub. Beer nice and cold. A great view of the road and the passersby Réservez une table maintenant

Fantastic staff and fantastic food! The Guinness Pie was sensational. Very accommodating to arrange a table for a group last minute.
