This is my go-to spot when I don't feel like cooking lunch or dinner. The owners are very friendly and I have always had a great experience with their food. Their dishes always taste fresh, especially their hand rolls! Made on the spot, yet more affordable and delicious than other places. The store may not look impressive at first glance, but the food is truly outstanding, in my opinion. It's a hidden gem! The dinner I had the other night was tofu yasai don and some salmon nigiri, as shown in the photo I posted.
Excellent value for money! This small Japanese takeaway/eat-in restaurant never fails to deliver. Miki and Lu (the owners) are very friendly and welcoming, and offer exceptional family-friendly service no matter how busy the restaurant is. Food is made fresh to order, meals are consistent in quality at every visit. We have never had a bad meal here, and have been coming an average of once a week for the past 4 years. Like your local reliable fish and chip shop, only with Japanese food. Highly recommended!
It looks like an ordinary japanese takeaway but its food is quite good for the cheap prices and the staff is also polite. It's a quiet place with a few tables of customers which I like because I'm not a fan of noisy places. You can get a don for $10 and I would recommend that because the chicken curry don was fried perfectly. I would say its sushi is standard, but note that there aren't many places where you can get $2.8 for 2 nigiri in Melbourne!
The staff at this restaurant is friendly, the service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. It's my favorite Japanese spot on Glenferrie Road in Malvern. It's a family-run business and the female manager is always very patient and polite. Réservez une table maintenant
