Incredible resteraunt in the cooks forest area. It's one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I did not see any other items besides burgers since Monday is burger day. The atmosphere is very nice, with nice lighting and seating. It is on the higher end for prices, but it is worth it. The food came out perfect, and the wait time was short. The staff was very pleasant and answered all of the questions. The only part that was minimal was trying to track down the waitress for refills. She didn't come and ask either, but as she said, she was very nice, but also had a large table that she was taking care of. They have daily specials, and we will be back.
We went out of way to stop at this restaurant with good expectations. We were disappointed beginning with upon entering the restaurant being ignored by the hostess. Finally after being seated, placed our order things got very slow. The food was bland. My manicotti was dry and tasteless, like it was leftover from the weekend. My husband's meatloaf the same. The plus and reason we chose this restaurant was that we could have our small dog on the deck with us. When we finally got our check none of the prices were what was printed on the menu. Would we ever go back? Absolutely NO!
Hostess was very unpleasant due to us having a table of 9. It was a Saturday and they do not take reservations on the weekends, but I was told on the phone that coming with 9 wouldn 't be a problem. She initially turned me away, saying we can 't seat 9 people , however another hostess said 2 tables could be pushed together. The first hostess continued to be unpleasant, pointing us to the table instead of walking us. Out actual waitress was very nice, however even though the dining room was not very busy, it took her a long time to get our orders. Food came out fairly quickly.
I love everything about this place! First of all, the food was 10 out of 10. The place is always clean and it's beautiful inside. We sat at the bar, and our barkeep was very attentive and friendly. All the food is fresh and seems to be made from scratch. We've been going there any chance we are in the area. I highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again for another excellent experience. Food was decent. The cheese cradle was tasty. The Gouda Mac and cheese was very bland. It tasted like they used stouffers Mac and cheese and sprinkled bread crumbs on it. Brisket sandwich was good and so was the turkey club. Waited a bit to get acknowledged once we were seated. Lots of employees just milling around.
The food was amazing except the fried zucchini was soggy. My friend ordered a chicken Buffalo salad and didn't realize it would come with a pile of fries on top of the salad... so ask for those on the side if you don't want them on the salad. Salad and fries were still good! Service was a little slow but good!
