I’m extremely disappointed and appalled with the way this establishment treated my significant other. On 9/13/2023, I called your location to order food to be picked up by my partner. Two large Oxtail meals and an order of jerk chicken. I told the gentleman on the phone that, ‘My Partner’s Name’, will be picking up the food. When he arrived to pick up the food, the people who were there around 8pm-8:30pm didn’t want to give him the food. They were trying to find out if he was the one who ordered the food. Mind you, the food wasn’t paid for yet and it's under his name. Which shouldn’t have them looking for who ordered the food. They should have asked his name and that would have been the end....
The service was good pleasant environment the young brother I assume was the manager ask me to be honest in my review so here it is. The stew chicken was ok to me my wife enjoyed the stew chicken i think the rice was a lil to mushy and the chicken was either over cooked or old bc it was chewy as of it was cooked more than a few days ago my son's had the oxtails i didn't hear any complaints so I assumed it was good but overall I'm giving island flavor 3 out of 5 for the stew chicken bc my wife enjoyed hers, also they need to pay attention bc I orderd a beef patty for home the patty wasn't in the bag so i called first to let them know the error the brother apologized and wanted to bring it to...
I have ordered several times from this place and never had an issue UNTIL THIS EVENING.I submitted my order through DoorDash and the order was confirmed by the store, the dasher dispatched and was waiting at the store.I briefly stepped away from my phone and upon my return came back to a multitude of calls from the dasher (who does not speak any English) and from the store who was stating they had no record of my order. I kept Saying yes I placed an order through DoorDash which is why the dasher is there to NO AVAIL. I have email proof confirming receipt of my order as well as the rude dasher who was dispatched.Nasty messages from the dasher through the door dash app (which were translated)...
I had to write this review asap .my family and I went to your location to pick up dinner and it's the very first time I can say I've ever been greeted in a jamaican restaurant The atmosphere was so welcoming we even got extra food. Oxtail was perfectly made my children had pastas which was cooked to order and it was super delicious. Mango paradise was truly amazing .I highly recommend this place. I found this place by accident since I was in the area purchasing furniture and have been meaning to write this review for over a week. I am from queens and this place is better than any Jamaican spots around me. We showed up an hour before closing they still had a good selection of dishes and what they didn't they said they would make. The food was amazing and we were sitting in the parking lot waiting since the rasta pasta was being made fresh and the man was nice enough to bring it out to our car before we could even come back in to get it. I wish all places were like this, great food, great customer service, great people!
They have the best sweet chili wings you’ve ever tasted and the best oxtail for the fairest price. You are not going to find any other restaurant that has a great quality of food for a fair price. Their homemade juices are delicious and their customer service is top tier. Outstanding customer service. While we waited I inquired about the different selection of dishes and was offered free samples which increased our order. The tropic fruit juices are delicious. I got the passion fruit guava and the pineapple passion fruit!
