"I wanted to love this, but my experience was truly lackluster. The goat curry was mostly bones, tendons and fat. I think I might have had 4 good bites of meat for $18!! It was tasty however and the roti was on point. I will try again due to all of the rave reviews."

Ok this place is THE definition of ?slap yo pappy? good! Came in on a Friday evening on a whim and whew, this is some of the BEST Jamaican I have had in a long time. Extremely flavorful selections. My mother was with me and she wanted to sample some of the stews and sauces to which the manager happily obliged. And her taste buds danced the happy dance! Eventually we settled on jerk chicken with brown stew sauce, red beans rice, collared greens, and Mac cheese for myself and curry chicken with yellow rice and cabbage for my mother. Spicy, savory, and extremely satisfying! Oh, the selection of drinks! Highly recommend either the ginger lemonade or the red punch! Perfect compliment to a wonderful meal!
I have been to this restaurant 3 times and I haven't been disappointed once! Food is so good and fresh! My favorite is the oxtails and cabbage. On the left in the picture is the oxtails, yellow rice and collards. To the right is the stewed brown chicken and cabbage. We gave everything ????????????????. If you like ginger please try the ginger lemonade. It's extra sweet to me, so I add water to it once I'm home but it is so good!!!
How did I not know this was here. Such a laid back, great place to hang out. Lots of tables, yet roomy, and a very relaxing corner with couches and chairs to chill. I ate the chicken and shrimp, with brown rice and beans, with their special spicy sauce and a beer. So delicious, and some groovy island music in the back ground. Definitely earned a returning customer ????
I've been here a handful of times and the food is always excellent! I either get the curried goat or the oxtails, and the oxtails are probably my favorite! The meat is so tender it just melts in your mouth. The portions are always large and the oxtail is always meaty.
