I had high expectations based on the reviews, especially for the pizza, so I decided to skip the restaurants on Newport Avenue and try this place on Grove Street. I ordered a crispy potato and a vegan pizza. Unfortunately, the vegan pizza had no taste at all - I recommend sticking to the Margherita pizza. The crispy potatoes were also overcooked. The atmosphere was pleasant and the location is up-and-coming, but finding parking can be tricky as some surrounding streets are not well-maintained. The service was good and the staff seemed friendly, but the server seemed indifferent and uninterested in customer feedback. I've only ever ordered delivery from here but I've ordered a few times and been VERY impressed with the food (specifically the spicy rigatoni vodka) so I have ignored the insane prices $26 for a tiny portion of pasta (photos attached, average size fork for reference) with no protein, $22+ for 12 pizzas etc. But this time the spicy rigatoni was mediocre (it wasn't even spicy this time), and with the price and portion size I would hope at least for consistently delicious food. Furthermore, I ordered the $15 arugula salad with a $5 side of grilled chicken and again the portion was so tiny, it might be 1/2 chicken breast (again see photo). I had the pleasure of attending an event at this restaurant and was excited to finally try it out. I was grateful to be chosen for the opportunity. I parked on the street nearby and was greeted warmly when I walked in. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the owner, Lazaros, was behind the bar making drinks. I started with a tasty sangria and then tried an espresso martini, which I loved. I made new friends while enjoying the delicious food that kept coming out - including squid ink pasta, calamari, garlic bread, and a great dessert of chocolate tiramisu. I want to thank Lazaros and his wonderful staff for a fantastic experience. I will definitely be returning in the future!
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, but they can be hit or miss. Many reviews mention that the food is pricey and lacks seasoning. While the restaurant has potential, the entrees and some appetizers consistently fall short. The pasta is bland and overcooked, the shrimp lacks flavor, and both the chicken parm and chicken Alfredo are also flavorless. On the positive side, the pepperoni pizza, crispy potatoes, and mussels and clams are enjoyable. It seems unlikely that I would order another entree here, as I prefer getting wings from Carvao.

Great mixologist... cocktails were delicious. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere... food was delicious. Calamari, meatballs, and pasta were the best! Pizza is pretty good... I want to rate it high... but I'm so particular when it comes to pizza, but it's definitely worth trying. Desserts and espresso to finish it off! I will be coming back to try more things!
The food at this restaurant is just average, despite the hype around their pizza. The service is welcoming, but not overly friendly. If you're from Jersey City, I recommend sticking to Porta and Basile's for a better dining experience. However, despite its flaws, the restaurant has good intentions and is a positive addition to the neighborhood.
Nice neighborhood type restaurant.Food and drinks looked and tasted great. The service could have been better by checking back but overall good experience.The manager or owner checking with people was nice to see.Definitely would recommend and go again when in the area.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing because each dish has its own unique sauce, and knowing how they are made adds to the experience. The food is truly fantastic!

They have half 1/2 price pizza on Tuesday and 1/2 price pasta on Wednesday this is the Rigatoni Bolognese food is decent a lil over priced at full price
