The decor is reminiscent of a French bistro but the food is seriously Italian. Excellent risotto, pasta and i secondi choices make this an attractive option for suburban diners and the excellent service made it a very enjoyable evening. The eye filet that I had was beautifully cooked and came with delicious ox-tail jus but the advertised "root vegetables" consisted of a single rather emaciated carrot. At $44, this probably represented the least value of the mains that our group sampled. So having been unable to get in at another resteraunt I opted to try this as we've walked past many times!Soooo glad we did. Service, recommendations, food and atmosphere were fantastic for small group who were celebrating 50 years of friendship. I order marinara everywhere- this one was superb! More seafood than pasta!! We shared three starters between the four of us. Perfect start. Fish of the day was well cooked and pork special was huge!Strongly recommend it

On m'a donné des chèques-cadeaux pour l'Italie, alors après avoir organisé un baby-sitting, nous étions vraiment excités de sortir. Nous n'étions pas trop enthousiasmés par la nourriture et le service n'était que moyen, donc à la fin, nous étions un peu déçus et sommes rentrés tôt. Nous étions heureux d'avoir des chèques-cadeaux et ne pensons pas que nous y retournerons

Came here for lunch again and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the ox tail Ragu risotto special- so full of flavour. We had a slight order mix up but no biggie in the end... we just ate our dishes in reverse. Delicious but kind of pricey

The restaurant layout is traditional and pleasant. Service was prompt and friendly. I had the barra special which was good though not as good as Burketown.. Cooked well; but not as fresh. I would go there again if I was in the area
