My uncle had a delivery route with Cassone's from the 1970s until his retirement in 2001. He would wake up at 2 AM to pick up fresh bread for delivery to stores and delis. I grew up enjoying this bread and still love it today. It's made using traditional methods and is not overly processed. There’s nothing quite like fresh, high-quality bread. I'm thrilled that they continue to be a part of the Port Chester community and are still family-owned rather than operated by a corporation. Keep in mind that you're purchasing what they're making in the bakery, so it's not a full-service bakery; it's focused on selling their freshly baked goods.
Been coming here ever since I was a little girl every time I visit my grandmother. Always get some bagels and rolls to start then some bread and cannolis. Their apple fritter looked incredible last time I was in and I still regret not buying it. Lol
The bread, rolls, mini cannolis, and cookie selection were all excellent. I also tried her small chocolate cake, which was the size of a large cupcake. I'm not particularly a fan of black and white cookies, though.
CASH ONLY. NO ATMs. Very strange because I grew up on their garlic bread not even knowing they were a legit brick and mortar shop. They only take cash however and they don't have an atm nearby.

The staff were all friendly and wished me a Happy Easter. I used to live in Port Chester, but now I’m in the Bronx. I come here every year because they имеют the best Easter bread.
