I haven't been here in years. My wife, who has lived in Odessa her entire life, had never visited before. I told her it was the best BBQ in town. While the food was decent, it didn't quite match my memories. However, the staff was fantastic. The cobbler was the only dish that still tasted as good as I remembered from years ago. I don't think I'll return for the main dishes, but I will definitely come back just for the cobbler!
Horrible. No flavor brisket. Not even a smoke ring on the brisket. I'm certain the brisket was cooked in an oven. It's terrible in an economy like today you splurge for a nice meal and they just throw it on a plate take your money and watch you walk out the door. There's no pride and accountability in making sure you produce flavorful and beautiful food. I feel violated and out of $60 bucks.
Worst BBQ place I've too too , food cold , I got brisket plate , the brisket dry n no flavor n cold , n I got a sausage sandwich , the sausage cold , they didn't even grill it , they just the sausage n sever cold on a cold buns , they didn't even grill buns either!!, I will never go there ever again, I just left that place a n hour ago yucky food
For vegetarians: Unfortunately, this establishment doesn't accommodate vegetarian diets, as all their vegetables are cooked with pork. So if someone doesn't eat pork, they won't be able to enjoy the vegetable dishes. For those of us who do eat pork, the vegetables were decent, but it's a shame there are no options for others.
