Good burgers. My wife and I live downtown, and when we're not in the mood to cook, we often find ourselves at Jack's for a burger. Jack's isn't exactly a dive bar; I would call it more of a worn-down neighborhood bar. The menu isn't very extensive, but the burgers are surprisingly tasty and reasonably priced. So, if you're looking for a decent burger without the steep prices of Washington Avenue, Jack's could be the right spot for you.
I visited this bar for a drink last weekend. Although I didn't have any food, I found the service to be quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. I'll definitely return, especially because so many of the staff members were smiling during a busy Friday night shift.
The ribeye sandwich was exceptional! It was so tender that I could cut it with a fork, and it was beautifully seasoned. While the atmosphere wasn't anything special, the food and beer were outstanding. I'll definitely be returning!
On the plus side, the food is freshly made to order, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Jack Patrick's offers a relaxed environment where everyone seems to feel welcome, regardless of background. Réservez une table maintenant
The place had great energy. The kitchen closed a little to early and the bathroom need a serious serious upgrade. But other wise it was a great low key place to shoot darts drink and watch the game.
This is far and away my favorite spot downtown. Love to wander in on my lunch break just to enjoy the friendly bartender or the ambience. Seems to be popping in Cardinals game day as well.
Total dive, but it's my kind of hangout... A little dingy, but the potato skins and burgers with nice folks make this home.
