During our holiday in Lossiemouth, we dined at Jackos with our dog for lunch. The food and service were both outstanding. I ordered fish and chips with a side of coleslaw and onion rings (the onion rings were possibly the best I've ever had, they were large and had a delicious sweet flavor). The fish and chips were also excellent, as was the coleslaw. My partner enjoyed the mac and cheese as well. We were pleased to find that Jackos is dog-friendly as an added bonus. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
The service provided to unfamiliar patrons went above and beyond. The bartender/server was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to assist us, even cleaning up spilled red wine from my coat and bag before tending to the table and floor when my husband accidentally spilled more. Despite being scheduled to leave early, the chef graciously stayed to prepare our meals and did so expertly. The pub had a delightful atmosphere and the staff were incredibly kind.
On holiday in Nairn and discovered Jackos. What a great friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere and decent food. The staff were great and very attentive. We are only here 4 nights but will return! Vegetarian options: We are both vegan. There was one option, a pasta and meatballs, which was tasty and reasonably priced. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
This vibrant pub offers an extensive menu and comes highly recommended. The staff are friendly, efficient, and very accommodating, making it a hidden gem. Service is top-notch and the atmosphere is excellent. This is a great spot for dinner with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person. The Fish and Chips come highly recommended.

The bar staff at this restaurant were very attentive, even going so far as to bring water and treats for our two dogs. The food was excellent. Parking can be found on the street, just not right outside. The service was great. We had a lunch meal and the cost per person was between £10 and £20.
