Great food! Took 6 kids and a friend in and enjoyed the lunch time special! Both of us enjoyed the small cod fish tea! Nothing small about it! Kids enjoyed their meals and declared it the best 'chippy ' they 've had! 4 of them from the East Coast! My friend loved that they had GF batter and has declared that she will be back! Reasonable too 8 of us fed and watered with dessert for the kids for £63!! And unlike some places we weren 't hungry again after an hour or so!
Had the large fish supper and a portion of mushrooms last night, best i've had anywhere for a long time, fresh fish, light and flakey, whith crisp batter, cooked perfectly, well worth the wait for it to be cooked. Chips and mushrooms also cooked to perfection. I'll definately be back if i'm in the area????????????????
I had a lovely meal that included black pudding, which was absolutely delicious. The chips were cooked to perfection. My grandson had the haddock and said it was fantastic. The waitress was nice and friendly, and I would definitely recommend this place. The prices are also very reasonable.
Really clean place, efficient and friendly. Crispy batter and massive portions. Only reason I’ve knocked a star off is mushy peas were lacking in flavour and vinegar was missing some strength. I know that’s personal taste so don’t let that put u off Réservez une table maintenant
Always visit here on the way back from Loch Lomond. Today I was disappointed as I asked for 4 slices of bread and butter after ordering our suppers and was told it would be £4! Really can't justify this for bread and butter doubt we will re visit
The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderfully friendly. The portion sizes are generous, and I often find that my eyes are bigger than my stomach because I never want to leave anything on the plate!
The best quality fish you'll find anywhere—there's simply no competition. It's a bit pricier, but totally worth it!
Fish and chips are always freshly cooked. Worth paying the little extra as the food is always great. Réservez une table maintenant
