Very disappointed. I ordered a small cake for my wedding months in advance and did not receive the cake I ordered. No effort was made to resolve the issue. We picked it up the day before and tried to work with them to fix it but were told “ there’s nothing we can do. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.” They showed no sympathy even when I was crying in their lobby because I was heartbroken. They had the picture that we provided on file and even pulled it up on the computer and showed us, but made 0 effort to recreate the cake. There was no communication between us and them about any questions they may have had about it, and decided to do their own design instead. We had to fix the cake ourse...
On November 5, 2022, the Jacques team prepared our wedding cake, and it turned out absolutely perfect! We opted for a three-tier cake: the first layer featured vanilla with blueberry preserves, the second was filled with chocolate cookies and cream, and the third (and most popular) was an almond cake with raspberry preserves. We received countless compliments on how beautiful the cake looked, and even more about how delicious it tasted. This bakery team truly goes above and beyond. Two weeks before the wedding, they reached out to discuss our gluten-free cupcakes. Did a tasting for our wedding cake because I love buttercream frosting. When they gave us a sliver of their cake it was moist butvthe frosting tasted like I was eating a stick of butter.i was looking for a similar frosting that my aunt used to make and it was buttercream. I asked if they had any other buttercream frosting and explained it I was told to get a cake from Market Basket. Rude people and awful frosting. We went with 3 sisters they give you full cupcakes for your tasting and the cake is moist and the frosting is incredible. They are in Dover NH. I do not and will never go to Jacques pastry shop ever again. Terrible experience and a waste of time.
Just last month we got married at Dell-Lea in Chichester, NH. When we met with them they said they love working with Jacques Pastries for Wedding cakes. Our sister also just got married back in early 2022 and she too used Jacques for her wedding. We were not disappointed. The design was amazing. The taste was even better. We also had little dog figurines so our pups could be represented at our wedding. They found great spots to put the dogs on the cake. We are very happy with everything they did and would definitely recommend.

I got married on June 17, 2023, and we ordered our wedding cake from Jacques, which was delivered to Hill, NH. Now I understand why three other family members on my bride’s side have chosen this place for their wedding cakes. While it might be on the pricier side, I can assure you that you, your future spouse, and your guests will not be disappointed.
I used Jaques for my wedding (2016 we took our vows horseback) and for my stepsons babyshower (2022) and his sister-inlaws.Jacques is a tad expensive but you get what you pay for; always loved and enjoyed by the guests. Beautiful to look at and extremely tasty.Communication with the Jacques Team is incredible too. You just can't go wrong with Jacques.
Used them 3 times now. Wedding and birthday cakes. They always do an amazing job. This last time i wanted a realistic roulette table. Completely exceeded my expectations. They listened to what I wanted and focused greatly on details to make me happy. This is the greatest cake I have ever seen and got lots of compliments at the birthday party.
The pictures speak for themselves! The dessert was stunning, sophisticated, and absolutely delicious. We tried the chocolate hazelnut, vanilla strawberry, and carrot cakes. The carrot cake was definitely my favorite—hands down the best I've ever had!

Excellent pastries and nice people. Go early, they sell out. I read another post where someone had a bad experience with a delivery driver for a wedding cake. Based on my experience at the store, the incident is very surprising.
