We have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it....but today was the opposite.Husband ordered a chicken dish. But when it came it was fish which,according to him, had not seen the sea for a long time. I ordered salt and pepper pork ribs, but what arrived looked nothing like the photo, was very dry and uninteresting. I think we should have been advised that there was nothing to accompany the meat and a suggestion made re ordering a vegetable dish.They have a liquor licence but it was difficult to order a nice wine by the glass...a very limited selection was available.
The Jade Dumpling House is becoming a family favourite. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. A great range of dishes with all the proteins covered with the usual selections of seafood, pork, chicken, beef and lamb. A tip here is to select from the "Chef's Specials". Most of the dishes are tamed down for our Western tastes and palates. A solid experience that is always busy.
Lunch on Easter Sunday with daughter and family. Very busy but service still good. Very large Seafood Chow Mein for granddaughter but we all had some as it was yummy. Sweet and Sour pork was tasty. Very good fried rice. Dumplings were a bit slow to serve (expected before main dishes). Will become a favourite! Add 2% for any card and eftpos a bit rich.
The best special fried rice I have ever had! Full of flavour, can be eaten as a meal on its own. Very tasty.Restaurant is always busy, has a write down dish selection paper to avoid miscommunication with waiters. Food comes out quite quick. Prices are a bit high however you get what you pay for. The food is delicious.

Great food and service. Staff don't rush your order out making you feel as though you need to hurry then making you feel ill! They have plastic cups and bowls for children and enough space around tables for children so that other surrounding customers aren't bothered.
I don't care what anyone says, there is nowhere better for dumpling in the ACT (and I've tried a few very good options). Unfortunately I can never wait to take the photo so you only get to see my empty bowls!
Always reliable! Tasty. Filling out the order forms on each table is always family fun. Do yourself a favour & take the family along. Have been approximately 12 times & never disappointed!
Food is not too bad, but the services need to be improved, and we are not quite sure it is a dumpling house because they hung those roast duck on the window.

Very expensive and small servings. Better off walking around the corner for Vietnamese to Simply Ph or making the trip to Dickson Asian Noodle house.
This family run business delivered good quality hand made dumplings. A serve of 6 is about $10. We had pork and chives, and chicken. Nice people too.
