My friend and I decided to eat at Jah bar for lunch. It's in a lovely spot facing Dee Why beach and we were lucky to get the perfect sunny winters day. We started with the fish tacos. YUM! Give me more. The fish is fresh and seasoned so well. Next we had the cauliflower again a good dish but give me more fish tacos please. Lastly we had the zucchini flowers which I wasn't a fan of as I felt the cheese overpowered everything else. I've had better elsewhere. The server we had was lovely. We had tapas for lunch. We were warm near the heater with a lovely outlook across to the blue ocean. The fish tacos were melt in the mouth and the cauliflower salad tasty and the crunchy potatoes delicious. We also has the meat balls and the chorizo both of which were yummy. Our glass of sangria was just right for our meal and the shot of Spanish sherry most indulgent. The staff were attentive and happy. We will be back.
The service here was outstanding. The tapas we had were delicious. Scallops and pork - excellent. Fish tacos - yum yum. Chicken hot wings - tasty as. Stuffed zucchini flowers - delish. My husband liked his cocktails but I thought mine weren't quite right. I thought not sweet enough. My husband disagreed.
Authentic Spanish tapas, some more vegetarian options without being drenched in cheese wouldn't go astray. The servers were quirky but at times felt a little awkward. Their weekly specials and deals are good and can make eating there less expensive. Would go there again though!

Great location, awesome food. The fish tacos were amazing. The staff were very friendly and service was good. The meals didn't come out all at once which was great as you could savour the beautiful flavours of each dish. Would definitely return to this place.
Used to love this place for Tapas as great staff with an awesome atmosphere and Chris used to get the place rocking with some great music choices but to be fair the food has been a let down on my last couple of visits.Come on Matt, you can do better.

Beautiful location for a casual lunch. Loved the mulled wine. Paella could have been better though. pork and fish tacos were quite nice!
