Jake's Steakhouse Long Island

We got rained out of our original plans. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted something nice but last minute and wasn't sure where we could get in. We went there a few weeks ago when we were in the area and liked it very much. Jakes is about a half hour from us so I decided to book a reservation 2 hours before we wanted to go. We arrived on time, were seated immediately, the hostess even wished us a Happy Anniversary (although I didn't specify in my reservation that it was it must have been on a different reservation from a prior year through open table). Two stars are for good service. This restaurant is louder on Saturday night than red lobster. I ringed my wife here for a quiet evening as if I were in Buffalo Wild Wings. In addition, they want $25 for each person reservation. If it was a high-end place, I would understand, but after coming it deserves only two stars. The crab cake and the bang shrimp were burned. In any case, do not recommend to come here for a special occasion.

Jake's steakhouse did not disappoint. I ordered the 35 day aged rib eye. It was juicy and delicious and my fiancé ordered the T bone which was cooked to our liking. Grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes for sides. Staff was friendly and attentive. The passion fruit cocktail was real good had to order two of them . Definitely coming back for the rib eye

Went to the restaurant for the first time to have lunch for a friend's birthday.... Let's says we can't wait to go back. Everything was delicious!! The appetizer, entrée and drinks (Jake's old. Fashion ?? . Literally a great first experience. The waitress Carly was amazing. Very friend and gave some good suggestions. See you guys soon!!

As expected, we had a great time at Jakes. All of our meals from the short ribs to the marinated skirt steak and the fried chicken were delicious. Our server Christian was excellent as was the rest of the staff. Neighborhood gem for sure!

Absolutely incredible! In the running for the best steak house on long island. Blows most out of the water. Service is fantastic, Kyle our server was Awesome!

Eating was excellent. had prefixe and all had marinated rock steak and loved it. it was a birthday party and we had a great time
