The atmosphere was fantastic! We watched the EAGLES vs Dallas game at this restaurant and had an amazing time! The food was your standard bar fare, but it was quick and delicious. We enjoyed the boathouse row mural and all the great Philly sports memorabilia on the walls. It was so exciting when the crazy loud horn blasted every time the EAGLES scored, accompanied by the Fly Eagles Fly songs. The service was friendly and the owner and bartender were great. It was a super fun experience!
I came to Jake’s all the time with my buddy.We alway get the 12 cheesesteak of course whiz with( means cheese whiz with onion. it is the way to go! 3 bucks for big beer during happy hours is unbeatable! we really enjoy that while catching a good game on big screen TV. Fresh garlic fries are pretty good. They have tastykake too, (east coast guys know what i’m talking about!
Get it traditional style cheesesteak wiz wit (comes with onions) and you won’t be disappointed, I try other cheese every once in a while, it was okay…I love whiz the most! The cheese steaks are always packed and cooked perfectly, the waffle fries are amazing and crispy, oh with the Whiz on the side..yummy
A steady favorite of mine for years. Their new location, well of a few years now, had some growing pains, but now everything is on point. Food was delicious, made fast and everyone was really fun and friendly. Just what I needed after a long day.Thanks guys Réservez une table maintenant
Little crowded, but we found a seat outside. Garlic fries were delish! The steak was a little chewy, but overall pretty darn good! Cold beer, sports, ckn tenders REAL chicken, very good! Will be back!
The steak sandwich were tasted better before covid and now they charge for extra ingredients like peppers, etc. Also the sandwiches are smaller compare to their competitors.Food: 2/5
Jake’s steak are great. Felt like fate. Food was tasty and quick. Charming servers and staff. Whole place was a vibe. So many options for food. Great selection on sodas.Food: 5/5
The cheese steaks were good, but the value was just okay. I wish they were more consistent; some of the sandwiches were perfect while others seemed a little unbalanced. Réservez une table maintenant
Had a nice late dinner and beers with two French couples ; Try the philly cheese stake and the lager!
