To make matters worse, the customer service from the cashier was far from friendly. I politely asked for a receipt after the transaction, and while it was printed, she started fiddling with her iPad instead. I didn’t want to reach for the receipt myself, so I had to ask again. She impatiently handed me the receipt, which only added to my dissatisfaction.
Overall, my experience was quite unpleasant. Based on how I was treated, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. Amazing!!! It’s difficult to find delicious Jamaican food in this area, but I discovered this restaurant today. I was getting my car repaired, and the owner of the auto shop recommended Gee's. Since I had some time to kill while waiting for my car, I decided to check it out. I ended up with enough food for two days, and it was incredible! If you’re in search of authentic Jamaican cuisine, this place is definitely worth the visit!
The food here is excellent and well-seasoned. I ordered takeout for dinner, and the price was quite reasonable at $10–20 per person. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, while the service was a bit lacking, earning a 3. The atmosphere of the place is nice, scoring a 4. I highly recommend trying the Rice and Peas, Jerk Pork, Curry Chicken, and Curry Goat.
Went Today Ordered The Red Snapper Escovitch With Rice Peas Cabbage. Everything Was GREAT! The Customer Service Was Amazing, They Were Patient With Me Because I Was Indecisive On What I Wanted. Decided On The Snapper Glad I Did, It Was AMAZING. I'll Definitely Be Back! Pardon The Picture, I Started Eating! Lol

Definitely will reconsider buying my curry chicken from here. I know prices have increased, but to receive 4 pieces of chicken for $20.00 is a rip off . I will take my $20.00 elsewhere and get a whole char broil chicken instead of 4 half legs

I highly recommend the large jerk chicken! There’s plenty of parking available, with a free lot nearby.

The food is consistently delicious, and the portions are generous. The jerk chicken is grilled to perfection and is the best in the DMV area!
