While traveling between Baltimore and Philadelphia, we discovered James & Jo's, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Both the food and service were outstanding. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries—they're a must-try! We brought our dog along, and Donte was kind enough to set up a table outside for us, so we didn’t have to eat in the car and could keep our furry friend company. (Just a side note: the restaurant offers vegetarian and vegan options.) Updated from my previous review on November 22, 2023.
The food was delicious, and the owners are so friendly. We had the spicy chkn sandwich with fries, vegan deli sandwich with chips, a side of sweet potato fries and side of vegan mozzarella sticks. The sweet potato fries are a must-get. James Jo's is going to be our new spot for when we travel I95 since it's such an easy detour to delicious vegan food (they do have vegetarian options also)
Surprising gem of a find!! They truly put a lot of flavor and thought into their food to make it healthy and delicious! The owners are incredibly nice and make their food from their hearts! Beautiful interior, comfortable to grab a quick bite or stay and chill!
My boyfriend and I got sandwiches with fries, slices of pumpkin spice cake and I got watermelon sea moss drink made in house. Everything was excellent. So happy to find something so delicious not too far from my work!

Went in today for lunch. Was met by the owner who was kind and explained his hopes of encouraging people to eat a plant based diet. Food came out quick and was delicious. Will definitely return!
I am not Vegan. Food was excellent. I had a cheeseburger. I will be going back to this establishment. Thank you for my first wonderful experience with vegan food.
The vegan burger was fantastic! Make sure to try the Hot Tamale. The staff were friendly, and the ordering and pickup process was very efficient.
Great vegan food. Good strong coffee. Pleasant atmosphere. Caring host Dante. Nice place to stop by if you're in the area.
