Got 2 where I hate eating here which I'm going 2 stop cause the woman Sally that does the cooking is so RUDE she always hollars and one day she had a bull horn and she pushed it and bout made me have a heart attack I have a bad heart anyways and the other young girl that works with Sally Some on the grill don't know her name but she has long hair she is RUDE just like Sally so yea I have had nothing but bad problems when I go in there and I keep going back after I say I'm not anymore cause I try 2 give people the benefit of the doubt but it never changes always have 2 deal with RUDE PEOPLE!! AND THEN DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE FOOD!!
Unfortunately, that conversation was just as disappointing. Amanda, the manager, was quite rude. She bluntly told me she would refund my $20 and that I should never return. I wasn't looking for a refund and certainly wasn’t trying to scam anyone; I was simply inquiring about the 20% charge that was added without my consent. The excessive defensiveness and rudeness I encountered are the main reasons I will not be returning to this restaurant. I wish them the best, but I hope they can improve their customer service and management.
The staff was exceptionally polite, attentive, and respectful. I've dined out in various places, from Forest City to Gastonia, Gaffney, and Hickory, spending over a thousand dollars in search of a worthwhile dining experience, and Jan's surpasses all of them in every way. I highly recommend visiting for any meal. I will definitely return as often as possible, even though I live about 30 miles away; it's absolutely worth the drive.
Jan 's has always been THE spot to grab a great comfort bite to eat! This morning my sausage biscuit and scrumptious tater wedges hit the spot! I 'm not a person to eat potato wedges, but from Jan 's I could definitely eat more than an unhealthy amount and be completely satisfied.

Hole in wall chicken restaurant. Only the freshest chicken from local farmers. Get the basket of tenders with potato wedges. In between gas station and Dollar General. Blue booths and fountain drinks.
Fantastic potato wedges! The fried chicken and burgers are great too. It can get quite crowded, so expect people waiting during peak hours. Keep in mind that it’s cash only and they close early.
The staff are fantastic in this classic small taste of Americana. Food is reasonably priced in a easy to find location. I highly recommend the fried chicken. Cash only
Hands down, the best little place to eat, wedges are bomb, very friendly staff and you get this really good food for a very reasonable price might I add lol
