"Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The cooked chicken and Xiao Chao were quite good. The bamboo dish with shredded pork was decent."

As for the food, the short rib in taro rice noodle soup was tough and chewy, and the soup itself had no flavor. The spicy stinky tofu lacked taste, and they suggested adding duck blood tofu, which wasn't on the menu. It was surprising to find out that it was a $20 dish—definitely not worth the price. On a positive note, the fried oyster dish was excellent, and the three-cup chicken met our expectations. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high recommendations and positive reviews. We will definitely not be returning.

During our visit to the area, we decided to stop by this restaurant after reading the reviews, and we're so glad we did! The bottom line is that we experienced an "authentic feel" that we haven't encountered anywhere else. We're not sure if it was the ingredients, the recipe, or a combination of both, but the flavors transported us back to the local food we enjoyed in Taipei. Everything we tried (as shown in the pictures below) was excellent!

Almost everything here is excellent. The flavors are very close to what we would find in Taiwan, offering a genuine taste of the local cuisine. However, I did find some dishes, particularly the three-cup chicken, to be a bit on the salty side. Overall, the food is delicious.

The Taiwanese cuisine here is quite good. My favorite dish is the hackbread rice, which has a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The fried oysters are also quite tasty.
