Worth the wait, you won't be disappointed! As soon as you walk in you can tell it's a small place owned by real people who really care about what they serve to their customers. It was a bit of a wait but that's only because it was during peak hours (they were kind enough to let us know about wait times without us asking). Their mocha was delicious, honestly the best mocha coffee I've ever had. Only my second time trying eggs Benedict but those were bomb too! The potatoes are a thing of their own, very savory and just right for brunch. I'm definitely making this place a checkpoint from now on. (My girl's berry waffle was great too) ...maybe some mimosas?
Location! This café is perfectly located in downtown Benecia. There are seating in and outdoors. The food was delicious. I placed my order and made a walk in the neighborhood while waiting for my food. I order French toast was perfect! I'm going back to try the crumb omelet. The 30-minute wait went by quickly because I used this time to check the landscape. The view of the Carquinez Bridge and the surrounding hills on a clear day was the best.
This local cafe is one of my favorites. It can get crowded since it is pretty small on the inside. (But a crowded cafe is a good sign, right? I've frequented this spot on a number of occasions and haven't been disappointed by the food, the beverages, nor the service. My sister and I shared the berry waffle, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. With a beverage each, the waffle satisfied both our appetites.
