After passing by this restaurant on the bus many times on my way to Los Angeles, I finally had the opportunity to try it out today. I called ahead to place my order and the person who took my order was very friendly and answered all my questions. We ordered two dinners, one with rib tips, baked beans, and potato salad, and the other with pork shoulder, macaroni salad, and baked beans. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to make a couple of u-turns to find the entrance and only one customer was allowed inside at a time. I am giving this restaurant a three-star rating for a reason. The ribs, made with fantastic beef and pork, deserve a five-star rating. However, what brings my overall rating down to a three are the potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad had a reputation for being bad, and the coleslaw was just ordinary salad. Despite this, I do plan to give this place another try. Just be cautious of the sides - stick to the ribs. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Enjoy!
